A Portal Your Clients Will Actually Use.
Project Map gives custom home builders a complete branded client experience — budget, progress, files, and selections in one place, under your name. Clients never land on someone else’s platform. It’s all yours.
Too many subscriptions.
Too many add-ons.
Too much we never used.
Buildertrend, CoConstruct, and Procore are powerful platforms. They’re also built for teams and use cases much bigger than most custom home builders. We built Project Map because we were sick of paying for subscriptions, upsells, and features we never used — and sending our clients to someone else’s branded platform to check on their own home.
Your clients are texting you at 10pm
No self-serve visibility means they call, text, and email for updates you already have. One portal stops that cold.
Powerful platforms. Often overbuilt for you.
Buildertrend, CoConstruct, and Procore are serious tools — built for larger operations with procurement workflows, subcontractor portals, and RFI management. If you’re a custom builder running a handful of high-end homes, that’s a lot of software to pay for, train on, and maintain to solve a much simpler problem.
Your clients shouldn’t have to leave your brand
When clients log in to a Buildertrend portal, they’re on Buildertrend’s website. Project Map keeps everything inside your brand — your logo, your URL, your experience. Clients never know anything else is involved.
Built for builders who are sick of bloated software — and clients who deserve a better experience than someone else’s portal.
See It LiveEverything your clients need.
Nothing they don't.
Project Map gives builders one clean client portal instead of a pile of software. Made for custom builders who want simple, branded, client-facing tools — and nothing else.
Budget Dashboard
Contract value, spent-to-date, and remaining budget — pulled live from QuickBooks Online. No manual updates. Always accurate.
Progress Timeline
Visual milestone tracking so clients see exactly where their build stands. You update a milestone in 30 seconds. They stop texting you.
File Vault
Contracts, permits, selections sheets, and progress photos — organized and accessible in one place. No more "can you resend that PDF from three months ago?"
Selections Log
Track every client selection — flooring, fixtures, finishes — with status and approval. Signed off directly in the portal, with a timestamp.
Clients never leave your brand.
Your logo, your URL, your colors. Clients log in at portal.yourcompany.com — not Buildertrend.com. They never know another platform is involved. It’s fully yours.
Live data from QuickBooks.
No manual entry.
Your budget numbers are already in QuickBooks Online. Project Map connects directly — so your client's portal updates automatically every time you run a job cost report. No copy-paste. No spreadsheet exports. No data entry.
From contract to live portal
in weeks, not months.
We build it for you.
We deploy and configure your portal — custom domain, your branding, your colors, QuickBooks connection. We set everything up and train your team. You don't touch a line of code.
You add your projects.
Add active builds, invite clients with a secure link, and start updating milestones. Five minutes per project. Your clients get a login email and see their build for the first time.
Your clients stay inside your brand.
Clients log in at your URL, see your logo, and check their budget, progress, files, and selections — all without ever leaving your brand. No third-party platform in sight. You look like you built it. Because you did.
Built once. Owned by you.
Not rented forever.
This isn't a SaaS subscription you'll forget you're paying. You pay a one-time setup fee to get it built and configured, and a low monthly fee to keep it running.

We built Project Map for our own Dune Homes clients first. Our clients stopped calling with budget questions within the first month. Now I can check any client's portal and know exactly where we stand — without opening QuickBooks. That's what convinced me to offer this to other builders.
Common questions.
No. Project Map is a done-for-you implementation, not a seat-based SaaS product. You pay a one-time setup fee and own the client experience. The optional monthly fee covers hosting, updates, and support — not access to the software. There are no per-user charges, no feature tiers, and no annual commitments.
Yes — that's the whole point. Your clients see your logo, your company name, and your brand colors. The portal lives at your custom domain (like portal.yourbuildingco.com). There is no mention of Project Map or Dune Homes visible to your clients. It's your product, your brand.
After you book a demo, we scope your setup — branding, domain, QBO connection, and any custom fields. Most implementations take 2–3 weeks from kick-off to launch. We handle all the deployment, walk your team through adding projects and inviting clients, and stay available for questions. You'll be live before your next build breaks ground.
No. We handle all the technical work during setup. Once it's live, adding a new project and inviting a client takes about five minutes and requires zero technical knowledge. If something breaks or you need changes, the monthly support plan covers it.
You'll need QuickBooks Online (not Desktop). The Plus or Advanced plan is recommended for job costing features, but Essentials works for basic budget tracking. If you're not on QBO yet, we can walk you through the setup — it's the most widely used accounting platform in residential construction.
Unlimited. There's no per-project fee. Run two builds or twenty. Your setup fee covers the infrastructure to handle your full pipeline — no upgrade required as you grow.
Buildertrend, CoConstruct, and Procore are well-built platforms for larger operations. They handle scheduling, subcontractor coordination, procurement, RFIs, and more. If you need all of that, they're worth looking at. But for a custom builder who just wants their clients to have a clean, branded experience — budget, progress, files, selections — those platforms add a lot of cost and complexity to solve a much simpler problem. Project Map is built for that simpler problem.
